Reading used to be my go-to activity when I had nothing else to do. With social media, on-demand TV, and the internet it’s harder to have nothing to do. I fell out of the habit of reading. Last year I made an effort to get back into regular reading.

It’s been wonderful. Science fiction/fantasy is much richer than I remember it being years ago! There are so many great authors and books in the world. I’m having a blast catching up.

I started an account on StoryGraph to track what I’ve read. It helps remind me there’s great books out there when life distracts me. It’s also just cool having a list.

StoryGraph has a nifty feature for creating a collage of finished books. Here’s mine over the past little while.
